Affordable Meds for Everyone
Are You or Anyone You Know on One of These Drugs?
In the health care bill in the House of Representatives, there’s a dangerous provision that will make it virtually impossible for patients of breast cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn’s disease to have access to affordable medication.
Members of Congress like Rep. Anna Eshoo and Sen. Kay Hagan want to block cheaper, generic versions of these drugs for more than 12 years or more. It’s a giveaway to the pharmaceutical industry that will only hurt patients.
Public Option Please is joining with medical students and concerned citizens to make these “miracle” drugs affordable for everyone. Here’s more about the issue and what you can do.
