We Need Generic Drugs: Ask
these Senators to Fight

In the health care bill in Congress, there’s a dangerous provision about “biologics” drugs that will make it virtually impossible for patients of breast cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn’s disease to have access to affordable medication.

Several members of Congress – like Rep. Anna Eshoo and Sen. Kay Hagan, both Democrats – think it’s more important to indefinitely protect the medical-industrial complex from any competition than it is to provide generic versions of life-saving drugs to patients who need them. But we can turn this around.

Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Susan Collins (R-ME), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and David Vitter (R-LA) all agree on a fix that would make generic drugs more accessible. We need these senators to offer their plan. Sign our petition to these senators asking them to introduce their amendment.
