Are You or Anyone You Know on One
of These Drugs?

Biologic medicines, including many treatments for cancer, are the drugs of the future — but they’re extremely expensive. Herceptin, used for treating breast cancer, costs $48,000 a year and many insurance companies won’t even cover it.

Pharmaceutical companies are trying to use healthcare reform to make sure these drugs never become "generics" and stay extremely profitable. Young medical and public health students across the country feel their hands are being tied as healers of the future, and they are coming out in protest.

If you are someone you know are on any of these drugs and are having to foot the bill, or should be taking one but can’t afford to, please let us know.
